Mysore

The focus of aMysore class is to empower you to develop the practice as your own.  In these classes you begin to make the transition from student to being your own teacher.  Mysore classes help this transition by giving you more space to listen to your body’s wisdom, without un-necessary input from the teacher.  The teacher is there to guide you and offer adjustments and alternatives rather than lead you.

Learning the sequence in your first few classes can be a little daunting, but once you have then you have something powerful for the rest of your life. Once you have the sequence you can practice on your own, when you travel you can find a Mysore class. You can go to these even if the teacher doesn’t speak your language, the primary series is a like a common language.

A Mysore classes develops your practice in a way that is very tailored to you.

We have mysore teacher Matt Ryan of Yoga Manchester running Mysore classes once a month on Saturday 28th January, Feb 18th and March 31st 2012 9.30 to 11.15am. Cost £15 drop in or 2 off block
