The wonderful Esther is back with a weekend retreat at our fantastic studio. This time Esther is offering a full immersive weekend to truly bring us to the present and nurture us mind, body and soul.
The Weekend schedule is as follows;
9.30-10.30 Pranayama and Meditation
10.30-12.00 A Fluid yoga practice that focuses on loosening the body as well as strengthening and stabilizing the body and easing the mind. Everybody can work at their own level.
12.00 - 13.30 Lunch
13.30 - 16.00 Short uplifting practice and meditation workshop
You will learn to sit and how to work on your concentration and mindfulness, the first 2 pillars for a more harmonious mind. All of our energies are up in our head and we will work on letting those energies settle in the lower Dantian, the energy centre in your lower belly. The saying is “100’s of diseases will disappear once the energy comes down from the head and collects in the lower Dantian". You will feel the difference in your body and mind when that happens, and that is the emphasis of this workshop. To get you out of your head and into your body so your body can do what its good at, bring itself back into balance. But your body needs your energy to be down in the Dantian for that to happen. You will come home with techniques and an understanding of how to do that."

Esther Ekhart has been teaching yoga internationally for over 20 years,as one of the founders of http://ekhartyoga.com/
she has thousands of regular students around the world following her online classes.
Esther also loves to connect personally with her students at regular retreats, workshops, yoga festivals, teacher trainings all over the world and her weekly classes near Amsterdam.
Esther worked for many years as a therapist and has a huge fascination with the human psyche. Through her spiritual studies (including the Clarity Process) and through applying this knowledge in her own life, she found that old conditionings are what hold us back from experiencing the reality of the present moment as it really is. It is this learning that Esther brings into all her teachings. She aims to enable her students to see past their old stories, freeing them up to experience the truth - the moment as it is now.
She loves teaching stronger styles like Hatha or Vinyasa Flow, focusing on strength and stability and fitness. She has just as much love for the slower practices like Yin yoga, Restorative, Meditation and Yoga Nidra that allow you to drop in and get to know yourself better.
