Hip Opening Workshop - Forrest Yoga With Isabel
Unlocking the mysteries of our hips in this Forrest Yoga inspired workshop.
This workshop is designed to strengthen our connection with our hips, get grounded and bring a greater sense of feeling and experiencing to what we are doing.
Hip Flexibility Workshop
We will open and create more space in our hips, working through a series of Forrest Yoga inspired hip opening postures. We will spend a good amount of time working with our core and how we can use the core as gateway to connect to our pelvic floor. We will move through grounding standing postures to understand how we can use our active feet, the feeling of support from the ground, to build heat in our legs and get a deeper connection to our hips.
Forrest Yoga is renowned as an intensely physical and internally focused practise that emphasises how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life.
For Isabel, training with Ana Forrest has made a huge impact on her own yoga practice as well as her yoga teaching. For this workshop, she will combine her study of Forrest yoga, other forms of yoga and movement therapy and her own personal ongoing practise.
Isabel comes from a professional dance background and got into yoga through her dance training.
She trained with YogaLondon a Vinyasa Flow Yoga school in 2012 and trained with Ana Forrest during an Advance Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in the US. Continuing from that Isabel did workshops and continuing teacher training with Forrest Yoga Guardians Brian Campbell and Jambo Truong. She works closely with partner Anthony Middleton exploring acrobatics, dance and yoga. Together they give classes and workshops in Acrobatic yoga, partner yoga and dance.
